“As soon as you trust yourself, you will know how to live.”
-Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Trust can be a big one for us to learn. Learning to trust others, and trust in yourself. Can you be trusted? Can you trust?
First, it all starts with you, and you must learn to trust in yourself. You must trust yourself and know that you can make the best decision with your heart and mind with who you are, and the information you have learned up into that moment.
When we receive new information, we as wise and soulful individuals, we have the right to make new decisions based upon that knowledge, inner knowing and trust that we learn from life, the Universe, and what is in our highest good. We can turn right or left, and we can take a new path. We can start over if we want to, a kind of do-over if we need to. We must trust our instinct, our ‘gut’, and our intuition with that new information.
At times, we’ll be betrayed, and it hurts, it feels just awful, but I want you to look at it as a gift that gives you new information about a situation, a person, or yourself. It’s up to you to use this for your growth, and your insight into situations and to people. My radar and intuition is deeply honed with whom I can trust and whom I should stay away from. Whom I can open to, and whom I should not reveal too much too, for they don’t deserve trust. It takes practice and we learn with that.
When we know that we have learned to trust our own inner guidance system, we learn how to use that and know when to trust and also when to use discernment, not to trust. You must believe in your inner guidance, as it will never steer you wrong. Start now, look inside yourself, you own that inner knowing.
